The last year has been a fantastic one for CUiD – having explored the critical themes of ‘Health and Development’ and ‘The Ethics of Development’, welcomed a range of speakers including those from DFID, the WHO and the Gates Foundation, produced an exceptional edition of ‘Vision’ (keep your eyes peeled for our second edition out soon) and debated whether international development is the new ‘White Man’s Burden’. We hope to have raised important issues and fostered debate and learning.

The committee have learnt a great deal, developed skills and had a lot of fun along the way but it is time to hand over to a new committee who will shape the work of the society in their own way.
